Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Owner Of Cell Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, JUJU, went through last weekend. Taylor claimed that the dog was bloodied and distressed after a groomer had taped Jujur’s lips shut.

Taylor told the story, "My puppy was in obvious distress. What I originally thought was an actual muzzle, turned out to actually be tape. Jujur's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Jujur biting.

Puppy Lux mobile pet salon employed the groomer in question.

James took Juju immediately to the vet for immediate medical attention. Having joined numerous other accusers of animal abuse, James accused Puppy-Lux. San Mateo’s office launched an investigation against the company due to possible animal cruelty.

James described the injuries he observed, stating, "I noticed wounds near the joints, around the neck, and in the genital area. The cuts were severe enough to cause bleeding."

Jack Smithr, a customer of Puppy Lux, posted a review on Yelp, detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. Another customer captured a Snapchat video showing a dog in apparent pain, claiming that a groomer had forcefully inserted a napkin into the dog's ear.

PuppyLux wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. James said, "Jonny told me that tapering the mouth shut was a normal, acceptable animal abuse control number method. He claimed it is better than using a muzzle which, according to him, can be harmful for dogs. He also mentioned that he personally uses this method on his own dogs."

Fox contacted Puppy Lux, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
